Product Brand: GH2136 (GH136)
Product Name: Precipitation-hardening wrought superalloy.
Product Forms: Bar, tube, sheet, ring, forging.
Delivery Conditions: Hot-rolled, cold-rolled, solution-treated, aged.
Main Characteristics of GH2136.
GH2136 is an Fe-Ni-Cr-based precipitation-hardening wrought superalloy used at temperatures below 700°C. This alloy was developed based on the GH2132 alloy. In comparison, the content of manganese and silicon is reduced, while the content of titanium, boron, and carbon is appropriately increased, which reduces the precipitation tendency of G-phase and other brittle phases during long-term use, improving the structural and performance stability of the alloy over extended periods. The alloy exhibits good comprehensive properties, stable microstructure during long-term use, excellent oxidation resistance, a small coefficient of linear expansion, and is convenient for welding and forming. The main products of GH2136 are bars and discs.
After long-term aging at 600°C to 700°C for 1000 to 3000 hours, the γ' phase in the GH2136 alloy gradually transforms into the ω phase, reducing creep and stress rupture limits. Cellular phases form around 800°C, appearing as lamellar or Widmanstätten structures at higher temperatures, which reduces the impact toughness and plasticity of the alloy. The alloy can be used to produce electroslag remelted turbine discs; see alloy K2136.

(Supplement) Description of Steel Sheet Surface Conditions and Properties:
Surface.
Processing Type: Hot-rolled, annealed, descaled.
Characteristics: Rough, matte.
Main Content: Hot-rolled to specified thickness, then annealed and descaled. Typically used for industrial applications requiring heat and corrosion resistance, where surface smoothness is not critical.
Processing Type: Cold-rolled, heat-treated, pickled or descaled.
Characteristics: Uniform surface, matte appearance.
Main Content: Cold-rolled followed by heat treatment and pickling. The matte surface results from pickling or descaling. Can be leveled with a wool roller. The wool surface treatment helps retain lubricant on the round steel surface during deep drawing. This surface is suitable for processing deep-drawn fasteners, though these parts require polishing after forming.
Processing Type: Cold-rolled, heat-treated, pickled or descaled, bright finished.
Characteristics: Smoother and flatter than 2D surface.
Main Content: Based on the 2D surface, slight leveling is performed with a polished bar on heat-treated and descaled steel. It is the most commonly used surface finish, applicable for any purpose except complex deep-drawn fasteners.
Processing Type: Cold-rolled, bright annealed.
Characteristics: Smooth, bright, reflective.
Main Content: Bright annealing is performed in a controlled atmosphere furnace after cold rolling. Typically, a hydrogen or nitrogen mixture atmosphere is used to prevent oxidation during annealing. This is also a common surface finish for subsequent processing.
